In this weekly feature we provide a free horse racing selection on Saturday, which includes our expert analysis and a handicapping lesson.
Race 6 at The Fair Grounds on Saturday, January 4, 2025, 4:15 pm ET post time
Pace Scenario: Honest pace with Aviso and Atteradora both flashing early speed into the first turn.
Free AGOS Selection: #2 GOLDENAGEACTRESS (10/1) – this is a small high-risk, high-reward play on Saturday at Fair Grounds. This is a very wide open maiden turf race where you can literally make a case for nearly every horse in the race, so you should demand a price when wagering. This 2nd time starter passed half the field in her debut after breaking awkwardly and getting bumped around from her bad post. She draws much better today with this inside post. The dam is a half to over 2.8M in turf earners including G1 winner Vacare, so there is huge upside. Trainer Chris Block is a great turf barn.
Wagering Suggestions: Play # 2 to Win and Place.
Last free horse racing selection: Lost at Santa Anita.
