For the 13th consecutive racing day, there was no 20 cent Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot winner at Santa Anita, resulting in a Jackpot carryover into Thursday of $883,200. First post time for an eight-race card on Thursday is at 1 p.m.

With a Rainbow Six carryover from Saturday of $798,202, there was $371,275 in “new” money wagered on Sunday, creating a total Jackpot pool of $1,169,477. With 1-5 favorite Selcourt running second in leg one, the $75,000 Kalookan Queen Stakes, a total of 11 consolation tickets with six winners reaped the benefits of the huge pool, as each ticket paid $18,029.

With eight races on tap Thursday, approximate post time for the third race, leg one in the Rainbow Six, is at 2 p.m. PT.

With significant rain in the forecast for the next several days, all of Thursday’s races have been assigned to the main track, with the objective being to minimize scratches and help overall field size.
