Trainer Mandella Discusses Omaha Beach’s Quarter Crack

Trainer Richard Mandella did a media interview outside the barn last week to discuss the history of Omaha Beach and his quarter crack issue.   Omaha Beach is the possible post time favorite for this year’s Kentucky Derby after two impressive wins at Oaklawn Park.

Mandella discusses how a quarter crack issue with a racehorse is comparable to when a person rips their finger nail.  Listen in.
