Bartletts, tough on any surface but especially on Tapeta, captured the second race at Presque Isle Downs last Wednesday night and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The 8 year old stalked the leaders from a forward position, continued to advance and took the lead inside the eighth pole to win the $16,000 claiming event by a half-length under rider Harry Vega. The bay covered the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:16.85 and returned $7.00 to his supporters. It was the 12th win on the artificial surface for the son of Mr. Greeley. It was the 18th win overall for Bartletts, who is owned and trained by Anthony Ferraro. The gelding has finished in the money 37 times from 67 lifetime starts and bankrolled $408,000 in career earnings.
