This Officer Needs a Salute

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comFranks Officer Gal overcame a little difficulty in her trip but wore down the leader and won the sixth race at Oaklawn Thursday afternoon by a half-length. The daughter of Officer was ridden to her third consecutive victory by veteran Jon Court. Trainer Paul Holthus claimed the filly in February and hasn’t missed the Winner’s Circle with her yet. The four year old stopped the timer in 1:11.02 for the 6 furlong race written for starter allowance runners. The dark bay returned $3.80 to her supporters in winning her fourth career race. She is owned by the NPH Stable and has earned $110,000 and finished in the money in 8 of 17 lifetime starts.
