Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comLenders Way came from near the back of the pack to win the seventh race at Delaware Park last Wednesday and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The mare won the $15,000 optional claimer event over 5 ½ furlongs in 1:04.56 and returned $9.80 to her supporters. It was the fifth lifetime victory for the five year old ridden by Angel Castillo. The daughter of Hook and Ladder is trained by Marcos Zulueta and has finished in the money 20 times from 35 career starts. Owned by Al Liupcho, she has now accumulated $222,000 in lifetime earnings.
