Texas 7yo Gelding takes Horse Racing Claiming Honor

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comHuntingman turned back from a route, whipped the field in the seventh race at Lone Star Park Friday night and was named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The Justin Evans trainee stalked the $5,000 starter field from the outside, took over about half way through the 6 furlong race and proved he was much the best. The Florida bred son of Straight Man collected his 13th career victory in the process and stopped the timer in 1:10.84. Owned by Tony Phillips and ridden by Lindey Wade, the 7 year old gelding paid $5.00 to win. Huntingman has now finished in the money 17 of 30 career races with a lifetime bankroll of $129,000.
