When Can I Get Tickets to the New Belmont Park?

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced that tickets and hospitality offerings for the first Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at the new Belmont Park will go on sale beginning Saturday, September 19, at noon via BelmontStakes.com/tickets.

After a three-year period when the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival was temporarily moved to Saratoga Race Course, 2027 will mark the highly anticipated return of the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets to its newly reimagined Long Island home.

Highlighted by the 159th running of the Grade 1, $2 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets on Saturday, June 5, the three-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will be held Thursday June 3, through Saturday, June 5, at Belmont Park.

A presale will take place on Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. exclusively via Ticketmaster.

Fans may select from the following ticket options, subject to availability:

  • Backyard General Admission – General admission access to Belmont Park’s expansive Backyard, offering a relaxed setting with convenient access to food, beverage and race-day amenities.
  • Infield General Admission – General admission access to the newly accessible Belmont Park Infield, providing a unique perspective of the racing action.
  • Grandstand Reserved Seating – Reserved seating in the Belmont Park Grandstand offering excellent views of the homestretch.
  • Infield Grandstand Seating – Elevated reserved seating in the Infield Grandstand providing a unique perspective of the racing action from the newly accessible Belmont Park infield.
  • West Paddock Reserved – Tiered drink rail viewing of the Paddock, providing an up-close view of the expansive paddock. The West Paddock Reserved ticket also provides access to the Homestretch Market and trackside apron.
  • Big Red’s – A lively track-level hospitality experience combining prime views of the racing action with convenient access to food and beverage.
  • The Stretch View – An elevated hospitality experience on the second-floor overlooking the homestretch, offering an expansive patio area with outstanding views as the horses race toward the finish.
  • Triple Crown Dining and Boxes – Premium reserved dining and box seating in this third-floor tiered restaurant, with floor to ceiling windows, providing exceptional panoramic views of the track.

Backyard general admission tickets for Belmont Stakes Day will be available for $75. Infield general admission tickets for Belmont Stakes Day will be available for $50. Backyard general admission is free for children 12 and under on Thursday, June 3 and Friday, June 4.

Families can take advantage of the Family Four-Pack in the Belmont Park Kids Zone, which includes admission for two adults and two children. Available each day of the festival, packages will be priced at $100 June 3-4, and $200 on Belmont Stakes Day, June 5.

The new Belmont Park will open for live racing on Friday, September 18, following a multi-year redevelopment project to create a world-class racing and entertainment destination. Tickets for ‘The Stretch’ at Saratoga Racecourse Go On Sale Today

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will welcome the general public to purchase full-season ticket plans at The Stretch for the 2019 meet at Saratoga Race Course beginning Thursday, February 28 at 1 p.m.

The Stretch – which debuted in 2018 and is located in the grandstand at the Top of the Stretch – is a private hospitality area featuring modern and upscale amenities in a casual environment with breathtaking views of thoroughbreds rounding the final turn.

Reserved seating options at The Stretch available for seasonal plans include middle dining tier tables ranging from six to eight seats; reserved bar seats; and premium reserved seats. Full-season plans can be purchased exclusively through the NYRA Box Office by phone at (844) NYRA-TIX, via email atboxoffice@nyrainc.com or at www.nyra.com/saratoga.

Season ticket holders to The Stretch enjoy exclusive access to a full-service bar, kitchen and concessions, high-definition televisions and video screens, touchscreen tablets, special events, and private restrooms. Guests also enjoy a relaxed dress code at The Stretch.

“The Stretch was tremendously popular in its inaugural season,” said NYRA Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Lynn LaRocca. “Based on the outstanding feedback we received last year and the robust pace of season ticket renewals, we expect this premium hospitality area to be in extremely high demand for the 2019 meet. We encourage fans to act now to secure their spot in The Stretch for the upcoming season.”

All season plan holders to The Stretch will automatically be enrolled in the Saratoga Season Perks program, which includes discounts on-track and at participating off-track locations, including local restaurants, merchants, service providers and entertainment venues. Discounts at participating partners are valid from June 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020 with a Saratoga Season Perks card.
Stretch season ticket plan holders will also be guaranteed a Saratoga premium giveaway on the day of the giveaway. Season plan holders must be present at Saratoga Race Course and redeem the giveaway by the designated time.

Weekly ticket plans for The Stretch will go on sale to the general public beginning Tuesday, April 9. Single day tickets for The Stretch will go on sale Tuesday, April 16. Inventory may be limited and is based on availability.

The 40-day meet at historic Saratoga Race Course will begin on Thursday, July 11 and run through Labor Day, Monday, September 2. Following opening weekend, Thursday, July 11 through Sunday, July 14, racing at Saratoga will be conducted five days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays. Closing week will run Wednesday, August 28 through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.

$7M Turf Race Added. Pegasus Tickets Open Today

The Stronach Group, owners of the Pegasus World Cup, announced an exciting new element to what has become, in just two short years, one of the premier events on the Thoroughbred racing calendar. The Pegasus World Cup 2019, to be held on January 26, will be adding a Grade 1 turf stakes to this year’s race-day festivities.

The addition of the turf race, which will be run at 1 3/16 miles, aims to attract and showcase twelve of the best older turf horses from around the world turning the $16 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational into a Championship Invitational Series. The total purse for the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational will sit at $7 million with $3 million awarded to the winner. The Pegasus World Cup Invitational, to be contested on the dirt at 1 1/8 miles, will offer a $9 million purse with a $4 million prize waiting for the winner of the twelve-horse field.

Any horse owner who purchases a spot in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational will be given preference to purchase a spot in the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational. The cost to secure an entry spot and enter a horse is $500,000 per race.

2017 Saratoga Horse Racing Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow

Full-season plans, which include reserved seats for the full 40-day season, will be available for purchase online through NYRA AccountManager utilizing the Saratoga Virtual Venue seating map, enabling fans to digitally preview their seat location and sightlines before purchasing tickets.Full-season plans include 40 days of admission based on the cost of a season pass.

A season pass provides fans with admission to 40 days of world-class thoroughbred racing at Saratoga Race Course, including the Grade 1 Travers and Grade 1 Whitney.

The cost for a 2017 Grandstand season pass is $40; a Clubhouse season pass is $65. Season passes do not include reserved seating and are valid for one admission. Season passes may be purchased through NYRA AccountManager.

2016 season pass buyers will be able to conveniently renew their season passes by logging into NYRA AccountManager from Wednesday, March 8 through Tuesday, March 14. Those who do so during this period will save by not paying Ticketmaster service fees.

“A Saratoga season pass provides fans with the ability to witness the best thoroughbred racing at a world-class sporting and entertainment venue for the equivalent of a dollar a day,” said New York Racing Association Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer Lynn LaRocca. “A Saratoga season pass also comes with an exclusive, free perks program that offers discounts to local restaurants, retailers and Live Nation concerts at SPAC, plus local college basketball and other sporting events. The 2017 season will again feature the Saratoga Season Perks program, with exclusive offers for season pass and season ticket plan holders, including the guarantee of a Saratoga premium giveaway on the day of the giveaway. (Season pass or season ticket plan holders must be in attendance at Saratoga Race Course, enter through the designated season ticket and pass holder lines and redeem the giveaway by the designated time. Redemptions will begin when gates open to the general public.)

Saratoga Season Perks members are also entitled to special discounts at dozens of retail, restaurant and professional services locations which are members of the Saratoga Downtown Business Association; as well as various local entertainment venues. Saratoga season pass and season plan holders will receive a 10 percent savings with an activated season pass beginning June 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018. 2016 Saratoga Season Perks members will continue to benefit from last year’s edition of the program through the end of March 2017.

This year’s additions to the Season Perks program include the entire Live Nation summer concert series at Saratoga Performing Arts Center and the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, among others.
