Speedy Mare takes AGameofskill.com Claimer of the Week honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comSpeedboat Sally earned the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week spot after capturing the sixth race at PARX Saturday afternoon. Ridden by veteran Joe Hampshire, Sally stayed close to the pace and grabbed the lead inside the furlong marker before winning by a length in the $16,000 claiming event. The 5 year old stopped the timer in 1:12.86 and paid $15.40 to her backers. Sally was claimed in June by trainer Ron Dandy and was making her second race after a layoff.  The daughter of Friends Lake is owned by Robert Tresente. Sally has 6 lifetime wins and 18 in the money finishes from 27 career races. Her lifetime earnings are more than $155,000.
