Rumbling in Philly is the AGameofskill.com Claimer of the Week

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comConcerto’s Thunder made a lot of noise capturing the sixth at PARX last Saturday afternoon. The 7 year old stalked the early leaders, joined them at the top of the stretch and then took charge after a tough battle. Owned and trained by high percentage trainer Ramon Preciado, the gelding recorded his 8th lifetime win in the $5,000 claiming event and stopped the timer at 1:10.91 for 6 panels. It was the second start after a layoff for the chestnut son of Concerto who was ridden masterfully by Inoel Beato. Concerto’s Thunder, who paid his backers $8.20 to win on Saturday, has accumulated $255,000 in earnings from 53 lifetime starts. He has finished in the money 26 times.
