There have been only eight repeat winners in the same race during the past 27 years of the Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships, and only three in the past seven years. This includes the super mare Goldikova (Ire), who will attempt to extended her unprecedented record streak in the Mile to 4 victories.
