Presque Isle runner takes claiming honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comShananie’s Honor battled for the lead early, took control before the quarter pole and then romped home in the second race at Presque Isle Downs last Wednesday night and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The daughter of Honor Glide took the race with ease by a margin greater than 5 lengths under Ronnie Allen, Jr. Shananie’s Honor is owned and trained by Edward Clouston. She covered the 6 furlongs in 1:12.02 in the race for $5,000 claimers. The 8 year old returned $6.00 to her backers. Shananie’s Honor has now won 7 races and finished in the money (top 3) 30 times from 59 career starts. The veteran mare has accumulated a lifetime bankroll of $145,000.
