Personal Good named AGameofSkill.com Claimer of the Week

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.com

Owned and trained by Dennis Ward, Personal Good has been named the Claimer of the Week after a thrilling victory at Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday, January 7. Ridden by Mike Allen, the 7 year old gelding out of Personal Hope was next to last at the quarter pole and came from the heavens to get to the wire in front. Personal Good’s late run in the $5,000 event happened so quickly that Tampa’s track announcer failed to call his name until after he crossed the wire. Personal Good covered the 6 furlongs in 1.12.69 and paid $25.40 to win plus triggered a huge $242.00 exacta. It was the 12th career win in 59 starts for Personal Good who has finished in the money 27 times and earned nearly $200,000.
