Old Gray Mare does it at Turfway – Wins Claimer of the Week

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comIzzaeven won the second race at Turfway Park Friday night and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The gray mare was the last to leave the gate and the first to cross the wire in the one mile starter allowance race, eligible only for those past starters of $5,000 or less. The 7 year old covered the mile on Turfway’s polytrack in 1:41.97 and returned a handsome $25.20 to her backers. It was her first start for her new trainer, Sergio Baez, since she was claimed in January. She was ridden to her tenth career victory by Albin Jimenez and is owned by the Big Cat Stable. The daughter of Even the Score has finished in the money (top 3) 23 of 46 times and has accumulated lifetime earnings of $109,000.
