Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comBucktown left the gate in the fifth race at Fairgrounds last Wednesday afternoon and was never passed, showing the way around the New Orleans oval for the group of $10,000 claimers. The son of Leestown covered the mile and 70 yard event in 1:43.37 seconds and returned $10.40 to his supporters. Ridden by James Graham, the 5 year old collected his fifth lifetime victory. Trained by David Shawn, the bay gelding has finished in the money 11 times (top 3) from 28 starts. Owned by Baroone Farms, the Louisiana bred has accumulated a bankroll over $117,000 in career earnings.
