Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comNormandruth was claimed by trainer Jane Cibelli on June 2nd for $16,000. It was the second effort on the turf and a successful one for the 6 year old horse. Cibelli brought the game competitor back to the Monmouth turf course last Saturday afternoon in a $22,000 claiming event, and Normandruth responded with another victory by over a length after taking the lead down the backstretch. The Came Home bay offspring stopped the timer at 1:41.68 for a mile and 1/16 and paid $5.00 to his backers. Owned by Panic Stables, Normandruth has 5 wins, a second and 4 third place finishes from 20 career races with lifetime earnings of approximately $135,000.
