Last to first effort takes claiming honors

Forest Meadow went from last to first to win the third race at PARX Saturday afternoon and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The five year old covered the muddy 5 ½ furlongs in 1:05.96 and returned $12.80 to his backers. Forest Meadow’s victory in the $8,000 claiming event was the 8th of his career. The chestnut horse was ridden by Hector Caballero and is trained by Patricia Farro. Owned by the Five C’s Stable, Forest Meadow has run all but 3 of his career races at PARX. The son of Forest Grove has finished in the money 21 of 47 career races and his lifetime earnings now exceed $177,000.
