Katy Wins Claimer Award. No lie!

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comKaty Lied, a tough campaigner with along history of success, notched her eleventh career victory in the fourth race at Keeneland last Thursday with a breathtaking move to gain control in the far turn. The 7- year old mare whipped a tough field of $10,000 claimers and ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:47.89 over Keeneland’s polytrack. The daughter of Kela is owned and trained by Thomas Humphries. She was ridden by Robby Albarado and returned $13.20 to her supporters. Katy Lied was purchased for $2,000 in the 2008 September Keeneland sale. From her 34 lifetime starts she has finished in the money and impressive 20 times. Her career earnings are now $123,000.
