High temperature in Boston – Claimer of the Week award

Ninety Degrees took command after a half mile and ran on to win like a favorite should in the fourth race at Suffolk Downs last Monday, and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The chestnut mare returned $3.40 to her backers and stopped the timer in 1:12.62 for 6 furlongs. The 5 year old claimed her 11th career victory in defeating the $6,250 starter allowance field and was ridden by Chelsey Keiser. Sired by Grade One winner Latent Heat, the mare is trained by Elizabeth Lezell and owned by Mark Fallon. In her career Ninety Degrees has been to the post 35 times, has finished in the money 18 times with $135,000 in lifetime earnings.
