High percentage runner takes claiming honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comHank’s Hill, who wins more than one-third of his races, whipped a field of $10,000 claimers at Woodbine Wednesday night and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. Keeping with his usual style, the son of French Envoy tracked the early pace, challenged when arriving into the stretch and gradually took command to win by a two lengths under apprentice jockey Nick Webb. The 5 year old covered the 6 furlongs in an impressive 1:09.70 over the Toronto polytrack and returned $7.50 to his backers. The gelding is owned by Pietro Armata and trained by W.V. Armata. Hank’s Hill is now 2 for 2 in 2013 and has won 12 times in his 32 race career. The gelding has finished in the money 20 times and has accumulated lifetime earnings of $291,000.
