Great Horse Racing Videos – Gulch in the Met Mile

R.I.P. Gulch

The 1989 Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) winner and Eclipse Award champion had been pensioned to Old Friends Farm in Georgetown, Kentucky since 2009.  He passed away this week due to complications of cancer.  Gulch was one of the greats.  Here is his impressive victory in the 1988 Met Mile over a very strong field that included Canadian superstar Afleet.
