Great Horse Racing Videos – 70-1 Upset in the 2021 Arc de Triomphe

The German invader Torquartor Tasso shocked the world with his 70-1 upset in this year’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp.  The runner, who had won two of his last three starts, relished the heavy going in Paris, finishing powerfully down the lane to run past the first and second betting choices of the French punters.

Last year’s Breeders’ Cup turf victor Tarnawa had a less than ideal trip when finishing a game second in this classic race.  Seeliway finished a good 5th off a layoff and may be coming over to the Breeders’ Cup at Del Mar.
