Great Horse Racing Video Series – Holy Bull

The Great Horse Racing Video Series at Agameofskill.com showcases great horse races in history.  Feel free to post some of your favorite videos in the comment section and we may just feature that race(s) in a future post.

This is horse racing fan David Tullis’ favorite race, the 1994 Woodward Stakes at Belmont Park.

Holy Bull was coming off of consecutive victories in the Met Mile, Haskell, and Travers Stakes. However, it was time to ramp the competition up a notch. Tom Durkin was as impressed as anyone as he left star older horses Devil His Due, Colonial Affair, Bertrando, and Tinners Way behind to seal 1994 Horse of the Year.
