This is the 2015 El Camino Real Derby, which is being included because of the great story behind the ownership and the fact it is one of the most impressive El Camino’s in my lifetime.
Four Hall of Fame jockeys—Mike Smith, Alex Solis, Russell Baze and Kent Desormeaux—had mounts in the El Camino Real Derby at Golden Gate Fields, a key points race for the 2015 Kentucky Derby. Analysts Joaquin Jaime and Paul LoDuca describe the action from the bay area.
