Florida runner takes claiming honor

Heavy favorite Dream of Atlantis won the fourth race at Gulfstream Saturday afternoon and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The six year old horse took the field coast to coast and won by a neck notching his third win of 2013. Dream of Atlantis took the 6 furlong event in 1:13.03 and returned $3.00 to his backers in a race for $5,000 claimers. Ridden by Jilver Chamafi, the bay was making his first start since May and his second start for trainer Peter Walder since being claimed in April.  It was the tenth career victory for the son of Stormy Atlantic, who is owned by Loooch Racing Stable. Dream of Atlantis has now earned $214,000 in his career and has finished in the money in 21 of 37 lifetime races.
