Finger Lakes resident takes claiming honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comRunaway Dunne, a veteran race mare, captured the fourth race at Finger Lakes last Monday and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The 6 year old dashed form the gate, grabbed the lead, and showed the field the way to the wire winning by a length in the 5 furlong heat. Owned and trained by Craig Sweeting, the daughter of Freud stop the timer at :59.87 seconds and paid $10.00 to her backers. She was ridden by regular Nazario Alvarado and the victory was the 13th of her career. Runaway Dunne has finished in the money 27 times from 53 career starts and has a lifetime bankroll of $105,000. The veteran mare has run all but 3 of her career races at Finger Lakes.
