Dependable mare captures claiming honor

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comPrimal Baby won the 8th race at PARX Saturday afternoon and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The mare was close up early and stalked leaders from the outside eventually seizing the lead inside the furlong marker and winning by a half length for her second consecutive victory. The 6 furlong event was for $12,500 claimer,s and Primal Baby stopped the timer at 1:11.60. It was the 10th career victory for the 6 year old who returned $18.60 to her backers. The daughter of Macho Uno was claimed in June for $16,000 and has collected a pair of wins and a second place finish for owner-trainer Peter Kazamias. Ridden by Eriluis Vaz the mare has finished in the money (top 3) 30 times from 40 career starts and has accumulated $247,000 in lifetime earnings.
