Delaware Park runner takes Claimer of the Week honors

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comDon’s Honour continued his sparkling career with a coast to coast victory in the second race at Delaware Park Saturday afternoon, and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The bay gelding broke sharply and never looked back under the guiding hands of jockey Fray Martinez and cruised to his 11th career victory over a fast track in the 5 ½ furlong event. The 6 year old stopped the timer at 1:04.65 after trouncing fellow $5,000 claimers and returned $4.80 to his supporters. Trained by Scott Lake and owned by Home Team Stables, the son of Don Six has finished in the money (top 3) 24 times from 38 outings. His career earnings now exceed $252,000.
