Coast to coast winner takes claiming honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comSaucy’s Got It led the entire way to win the fourth race at Tampa Saturday (3/16/13) after and was named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. Saucy’s Got It grabbed a quick lead and then worked hard to hold off the runner up in the $5,000 claiming event to win by a nose. The 8 year old stopped the timer at 111.85 for 6 furlongs. The Halo’s Image gelding paid $3.60 to his backers and was ridden masterfully by Fernando De La Cruz. Trained by Barbara McBride, Saucy’s Got It collected his 13th career victory with his Tampa effort and elevated his lifetime payroll to $144,000. Owner by Ronald Burch, the tough veteran has finished in the money 25 times from 39 starts.
