Claimer of the Week: Two old men get the job done

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comShakeyogroovething stalked the early leaders, moved to the front of the field just after entering the stretch and went on to capture the third race at Turfway Park last Wednesday night. The 9 year old gelding’s accomplice was 60 year old jockey Perry Ouzts. The pair of old pros covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:52.55 in a race carded for $18,000 claimers on the polytrack in Florence, Kentucky. The son of Dance Brightly paid $4.60 to his backers and notched his 12th career win in the process. Owned by Sherri Greenhill and trained by Jeff Greenhill, the Ohio bred has now finished in the money (top three finishers) 32 times from 80 career starts and has bankrolled $312,000 in lifetime earnings.
