Claimer of the Week: Ten times the charm

Penny’s Court challenged for the early lead, took command at the top of the stretch and then held off a late challenge to win the third race at Turfway Park last Friday night by a half-length. The daughter of Ruler’s Court recorded her tenth career victory and has been named theagameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The mare was ridden by Rolando Aragon and finished the five furlongs in 1:01.10 over the Turfway polytrack. The 7 year old returned $7.20 to her supporters after she defeated the field of $5,000 claimers. Trained by Thomas Feebeck, Penny’s Court has finished in the money 21 times from 30 lifetime races. She has earned over $39,000 and is owned by Kathi Feebeck and the trainer.
