Showbiz is My Biz got the lead shortly after the start, expanded his lead and held on to win the first race at Arlington Park last Friday by a couple of lengths and record his eighth career victory. For that winning effort Showbiz is My Biz has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The gelding whipped a field of $5,000 claimers over the Arlington polytrack and stopped the timer in 1:18.22 for the 6 ½ furlongs. The 5 year old returned $11.60 to his supporters. The grey was ridden to victory by veteran Chris Emigh and is trained by Carl Bigelow. The son of Nobiz Like Shobiz has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 13 of 34 career races. Owned by Kathleen Brown, Gail Bigelow and Lori Lang, Showbiz is My Biz has accumulated $115,000 in lifetime earnings.
