Five Star Prince raced in mid-pack, advanced at the half-mile pole, continued to stalk leaders before pulling even with  at the top of the stretch before running away and winning the fourth race at Tampa Saturday afternoon. Ridden by Jose Lopez, the tough veteran whipped $5,000 claimers to earn his seventh career victory as he stopped the timer at 1:18.70 for the 6 ½ furlong contest. Trained by Baltazar Galvan, the son of Five Star Day has used the Tampa oval for 6 of his 7 wins. Owned by David Posey, Five Star Prince has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 12 of 31 career races while accumulating $72,000 in lifetime earnings.
