Claimer of the Week: Mare doesn’t wait for the sun to set

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comHer name suggests she would love running at night, but instead Noctivagant courageously battled her way to victory in Tampa’s second race last Wednesday afternoon. The mare won by a neck in a hard fought seven furlong heat for $5,000 claimers and stopped the timer at 1:24.61 on a fast track. It was the eighth career victory for the daughter of With Distinction, who returned $21.20 to her supporters once the race was made official. The seven year old ridden by Eduardo Perez and trained by Kenneth Wirth has finished in the money 19 times (top 3) from 35 career outings. Owned by the Ascendant Farm, Noctivagant has earned approximately $130,000 in her career.
