Claimer of the Week: Evil Doer does the deed

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comEvil Doer pestered the leader for a half mile before taking command at the top stretch and then hung on to win the third race at Presque Isle last Wednesday night. The victory over $25,000 claimers earned the gelding the Claimer of the Week honors. The 7 year old stopped the timer in 1:09.91 for the 6 furlongs over the Tapeta surface. The son of With Distinction notched his 8th career win with help from rider Pablo Morales. The Florida bred is owned by Lonnie Stokes and has accumulated $235,000 in career earnings. Trained by Lance Stokes, Evil Doer has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 17 of 26 career races.
