Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.com Doug set the pace and dug in at the furlong marker to hold off foes and win the second race at Indiana Grand last Wednesday by a half-length. Doug has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The tough veteran’s 16th career win came over $5,000 claimers. The son of Fortuoso ran the 6 furlongs in 1:12.39 and returned $15.00 to his backers once the race was official. The Nebraska bred was ridden to victory by veteran Francisco Torres. Trained by Marvin Johnson, the 9 year old gelding has finished in the money (top 3 finishers) in 28 of 54 career races. Owned by Douglas Schmuecker, Doug has now accumulated earned $80,000 in lifetime earnings.
