Claimer of the Week: Del Mar Two Stepper

Del Mar racing Two Step Flor battled for the lead in the early stages of the second race at Del Mar Saturday afternoon before pulling away to a one length victory over $12,500 claimers on a fast track. Two Step Flor has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The 4 year old filly returned $4.20 as the favorite once her fifth career victory was made official. The daughter of Two Step Salsa stopped the clock at 1:10.99 for six furlongs and notched her second consecutive win in San Diego. Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, the John Martin trainee has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 10 of 16 career races. Owned by Michael Nentwig, the Florida bred has accumulated $134,000 in lifetime earnings.
