Summit County broke sharply and led the entire way to win the first race at Aqueduct on Saturday in the mud. The gelding defeated $12,500 claimers at 1 1/16th miles and stopped the timer in 1:47.60. The 5 year old returned $13.20 to his supporters after his fifth career victory was made official. Claimed by trainer Gustavo Rodriguez from his previous race, the son of Any Given Saturday was ridden to victory by Jose Ortiz. Owned by Vincent Scuderi, the bay has finished in the money (top three finishers) 14 times from 32 races and earned $144,000 in his career.
