Claimer of the Week: A Warrior wins the battle

The seven year old recorded his sixth career victory and was ridden by Horacio Karamanos. The chestnut gelding returned $6.00 to his supporters and covered the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:11.50. Trained by Gary Capuano, the son of Ghostzapper has finished in the money (top three finishers) 13 times from 22 lifetime races. Owned by Marathon Farms, the Kentucky bred has now accumulated over $156,000 in career earnings.
