Veteran Jockey William Otero navigated the win over $4,000 claimers. Trained by Lester Stickler, the chestnut gelding has finished in the money (top 3 finishers) in 28 of 51 lifetime races. Owned by Bush Racing Stable, Starship Captain has now earned $169,000 in career earnings.
