Claimer of the Week: A Dandy Performance

Dandy Deal went from last to first to win the sixth race at Churchill Downs last Friday and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The 6 year old passed all foes and ran with determination in deep stretch while being guided by the highly experienced hands of rider Perry Ouzts. The dark bay mare notched the eighth victory of her career and returned a hefty $45.20 to her supporters for their win wagers. The race was carded for $5,000 claimers and the winner covered the 6 furlongs over the fast Louisville oval in 1:13.32. The daughter of Yankee Gentleman is owned and trained by Kenneth Miller. She has finished in the money (top three) 12 of 27 times and her career earnings now exceed $72,000.
