Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comA Toast to You battled for the early lead while streaking down the hill at Santa Anita Thursday afternoon, eventually taking command and holding on to win the third race in Arcadia. The 5 year old gelding covered the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:11.89 over the firm going and recorded his eighth career victory in the process. He was ridden by Edwin Maldonado in the $50,000 claiming event. The Peter Miller trainee returned $6.40 to his supporters. Owned by Chad Littlefield and Ann Prince-Smith, the son of Tribal Rule has now finished in the money in 15 of 26 career races and has accumulated $450,000 in lifetime earnings.
