Canadian Veteran takes AGameofSkill.com Claimer of the Week

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comRonaldino, a tough Canadian bred, took the second race at his home track of Woodbine Wednesday night and has been named AGameofSkill.com Claimer of the Week. The Mark Fournier trainee was making his first start of 2013 and was made the favorite in a field of $16,000 claimers. The son of Katahaula County kept in touch with the pacesetters, began his challenge at the top of the stretch and then beat the rest to the wire in a blanket photo finish to pick up his 10th victory at Woodbine and his 16th career win overall. Owned by Jack Fournier and Dan Burwell, Ronaldino covered the 5 furlongs in 58.06 and returned $4.20 to his supporters. Ridden by Justin Stein, the 9 year old has finished in the money 26 of 33 races and now has a bankroll of $340,000.
