Six year old Flower Exchange captured the seventh race at Woodbine Friday afternoon and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. Usually a stalker, Flower Exchange found herself showing the way at every pole at Woodbine in the 5 ½ furlong event. She covered the distance over Toronto’s polytrack in 1:04.42 and won by a length with rider Tyler Pizarro at the helm. It was the sixth career win for the Florida bred mare and she paid $6.50 to her supporters. The daughter of Exchange Rate is trained by Francesca Armata and owned by the Alpine Stable. Flower Exchange has finished in the money 19 times from 30 lifetime starts and she has accumulated $174,000 in career earnings.
