Arlington Park Filly takes Weekly Claiming Honor

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comBlue Forty won the second race at Arlington Park Saturday afternoon and has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The four year old saved ground on the rail and stalked the early leaders, made a steady advance until securing the lead at the quarter pole and held on to win by a half length under veteran pilot Francisco Torres. The daughter of d’Wildcat covered the 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:19 flat and returned $9.00 to her backers. It was the fourth career win for Blue Forty, who missed her entire 3 year old year season (2012). Trained by Jim Divito and owned by Doubledown Stables, Blue Forty has finished in the money six times from nine starts in her career and has bankrolled $104,000 in lifetime earnings.
