The third career victory for the gelding came at 6 furlongs in 1:11.11. The son of Successful Appeal returned $11.80 to his supporters. It was the second race for Bar Magic after being claimed at Woodbine by trainer Nick Gonzalez for his owners, Martha Gonzalez and Horse’n Around Stable. Bar Magic has finished in the money 8 of 12 races with career earnings just shy of $100,000.
