All Surface Runner takes Claiming Honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comA winner on dirt, turf and all-weather surfaces has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. Deputiformer saved ground along the rail in the first race at Fairgrounds Friday night (3/8/13) and won by four lengths after gaining control of the race at the top of the stretch. The $5,000 starter allowance race was held at one mile on the New Orleans lawn and Deputiformer stopped the clock at 1:40.30. The son of Silver Deputy paid $14.80 to supporters while recording his third consecutive victory. The eight year old is trained by Dallas Keen and was ridden smartly by Richard Eramia. Owned by Brent Gasaway and Ian Yarmot, the bay gelding has accumulated $568,000 in career earnings and notched eight wins. He has finished in the money 33 of 58 races in his career.
