Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comTough mare grinds out tenth lifetime win

Dani Nikki ran close to the pace then gained control in upper stretch before going on to win the first race at Hawthorne last Friday afternoon by a length. It was the tenth career victory for Dani Nikki, who has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The dark bay mare covered the 1 1/16 miles event for $5,000 claimers in 1:45.43 over a fast track. The 7 year old was ridden by Santo Sanjur and returned $6.60 to her supporters. The daughter of Wildcat Heir is trained by Dee Poulos and has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 24 of 54 lifetime races. Owned by Ernie Poulos the Illinois bred has now accumulated over $144,000 in career earnings.
