Five Small wins big, pays big

Five Small left the gate quickly, grabbed the lead and outran the field to the wire capturing the fifth race at Fair Grounds on Thanksgiving Day. Five Small has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. The son of Keyed Entry brought holiday smiles to his supporters returning a whopping a $39.40 for a winning ticket. The gelding defeated a field of $5,000 claimers and stopped the clock at 1:12.13 for six panels. In his sixth lifetime victory Five Small was ridden by Jocelyn Gomez. Owned and trained by Jorge Gomez, Five Small has accumulated approximately $70,000 in lifetime earnings. The Kentucky bred has finished in the money 13 times from 26 career races.
