AGOS Claimer of the Week: Fantasy flies home at Oaklawn

Horse Racing Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.com Flyer’s Fantasy was close up early, took the lead before entering the stretch and went on to defeat a field of $5,000 claimers in the first race at Oaklawn last Friday afternoon. The mare has been named the agameofskill.com Claimer of the Week. Returning $26.40 to her backers, Flyer’s Fanatsy was ridden by Alex Birzer and stopped the timer in 1:04.91 for the 5 ½ furlongs. Trained by Hall of Famer Jack Van Berg, the 6 year old has now won 9 career races. The daughter of Early Flyer has finished in the money (top three finishers) 28 times from 49 races. Owned by Jerry Caroom, Flyer’s Fantasy has now accumulated $100,000 in career earnings.
